Terms of Service

1. Service description

Spotive provides done-for-you website design, build, deployment, and optional ongoing hosting and content services as described on this site.

2. Scope of work

The Launch plan includes a fixed scope of pages and features. The Managed plan includes the Launch scope plus weekly blog publication, hosting, security updates, and two minor change requests per month.

3. Delivery timeline

We aim to deliver your initial website within 48 hours of receiving complete intake materials. Delays caused by missing materials extend the timeline accordingly.

4. Ownership

You own your domain, your content, and any copy or media you provide. Spotive owns the underlying code and templates. You may request the code via the code handover add-on.

5. Payment

Setup fees are charged at project start and are non-refundable once design work has begun. Managed plan monthly fees are billed in advance.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel the Managed plan at any time. Your site remains live through the end of the current billing month, after which it is taken offline.

7. Change requests

Minor changes included in the Managed plan are limited to two per calendar month and cover text, prices, or simple media swaps. Additional or larger changes are billed at the published change rates.

8. Uptime and warranties

We work to keep your site available but make no uptime guarantees. The service is provided as-is without warranty of fitness for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

Spotive’s total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the prior twelve months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Spotive for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful content. We may suspend or terminate service for violations.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers.
